Losirwa village ,normally kigongoni, is wonderfully place to visit.

On the way from Arusha,you will pass at the Mto Wa Mbu Bambras petrol station at Kigongoni, then on your right side  hand and about  100mt ahead ,you will find  the sign post  of Rift Valley Cultural ,turn right and go straight to some 60 mt ahead and there it is office at Ipanda Guest House-kigongoni government hospital road.

    The Rift Valley Cultural Tourism Program was founded in March 2013, by Philipo E. Mrutu and Lucky S.Maingu.

    The magnificent name of the Rift Valley Cultural Tourism Programme in Mto Wa Mbu, symbolizes natural life of Maasai Tribesman. The idea was born from the desire and the will to create a cultural tourism in Mto Wa Mbu Village, characterized by high professionalism, personal knowledge and depth of each proposed destination, in reality that became the point of reference to customers, including an interpersonal relationship based on trust, careful attention in giving tips, advice and follows step by step the journey to the dusty roads and streets of Mto Wa Mbu Village and beyond.

    A hard Year to remember .

    A year which was hard to tourism in general, a hardship from different angles being Epidemic diseases like Ebola in West Africa or Terrorism in East Africa in Kenya (West Gate in Nairobi) made the tourism in Africa hard and most harder in East Africa. with all these Difficulties we managed our best to satisfy the tourist who couldn't just stop visiting our villages and experience the best of our villages.

    Politics vs Tourism

    The year of political battle, we had Elections in this year and most tourists feared coming to Tanzania fearing political chaos. Tanzania being a very peaceful country all went well without any problem, we started a new era with new leadership. A new hope to all citizens and the tourists in general

    2016

    we call it the year of the added tax.

    With the new government on power, reforms were made and the new decision is made on tourism industry. An added Tax was imposed in Torism and this made the rates to increase by 18%. We are looking on a way to satisfy our clients even better so as they may not feel unwanted.
